I was 20 the year I lost my purpose.

An adventure of faith. Changing lives in practical heart-melty ways. Hearing stories from around the world…I wanted in!

I secretly hoped that would happen to me.

But living my dream wasn’t all bliss.

I was getting desperate to know my purpose and direction.

So I returned home, feeling more lost than ever.

The cost of losing your purpose

1. My purpose is about finding the right (or pre-destined) destination for my life. If I miss it, I risk screwing up my entire life.

2. My purpose earns my value and worth by doing something helpful or significant.

3. My purpose and value depend on my success and status.

4. Purpose is ONE thing (one role, one achievement, one direction) for my whole life

5. My purpose has to be my career (or my purpose can’t be in a career)

6. My purpose is determined by what culture or others imply

7. I must know everything about my purpose before I choose a direction or take action.
